Companion animals enrich peoples’ lives every day. They create joy and encourage their owners to lead healthier lives, however, they can create a lot of waste along the way depending on their lifestyle. As providers for their animal companions, owners are responsible for the impact their pets have on the planet. Fortunately, there are plenty of simple ways people can help their animal companions leave a greener pawprint on the environment. This is an exploration of sustainability and its intersection with pets.
