Namaste IGBC: An introduction to IGBC Green Building Rating Systems and the IGBC-AP Credential

Formed in 2001 and a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) ‘s vision is to enable a sustainable built environment for all. It facilitate India to be one of the global leaders in the sustainable built environment by 2025. From homes to commercial buildings, factories, healthcare, resorts and townships, IGBC has currently several green building rating systems.

GBRI’s Namaste IGBC course is a self-paced audio-visual course module. It enlightens students and professionals, alike on the fundamentals of green buildings as it relates to the IGBC Green Building Rating system. And also building typologies based on the usage and the various rating systems currently available.

GBRI’s Namaste IGBC course lays the groundwork for students interested in earning the IGBC-AP Credential. This is done by highlighting key aspects regarding the IGBC AP exam, exam eligibility, and the application process.
