GBRI, an online education platform in association with the state of Rhode Island Energy Efficiency Resource Management Council (EERMC) is delivering FREE training on energy production, and climate change, for K-12 teachers in RI. This training is FREE for all teachers in Rhode Island. Teachers can earn 3 hours of continuing education by attending the training in-person in RI, online live or watch it on-demand on their own schedule.

As recommended by EERMC, we have utilized the NEED energy guides to develop the energy training section of our sustainability curriculum for teachers. The National Energy Education Development Project designs and delivers energy education programs and these guides are available for teachers for free on the NEED website.
